Background
On the east Pacific coastline, Peru is exposed to some of the largest and most consistent swell on the planet. As the waves hit the coast, they wrap around Chicama point to form the longest left hand break in the world.

Consistently world class conditions, combined with an ancient surfing heritage which until recently was hidden from the modern world, make Chicama the perfect location to explore the roots of the sport, showcase modern talent and attempt to break the world record for the longest ride ever.
